Eisa Gouredou
Eisa Gouredou is a French author based in Washington, D.C. She writes fiction exploring ambition, identity, and belonging across cities. Her debut novel, The Shadow of Dreams, follows two women in Paris and Miami as they navigate the lives they imagined.
Raised between France and Belgium, Eisa studied at Sciences Po Paris and the City College of New York before earning a master’s degree in public policy from Sciences Po. Alongside her writing, she has worked in public relations and is a member of the Maryland Writers’ Association.
The Shadow of Dreams is set between Miami and Paris, weaving a story of migration, and ambition. At its heart, it is a meditation on the dreams we inherit, pursue, and sometimes outgrow.
